When I walk in the door to nothing but profanity coming from the kitchen, I leave.

I usually like coming to this Taco Bell in Ontario. I’ve always felt it was a bit more put-together than the other locations nearby, and I’ve never had an issue with customer service until tonight.
I went through the drive-thru around 7:10 pm on 11/30/25. A young chubby kid with glasses was working the register and the window. I ordered a meal for my husband and I. When I pulled forward, I noticed something was missing in my order, so I handed the bag back to him and asked him to check it. He told me everything was in there.
I pulled over to look again because something didn’t feel right. The item was still missing. I went inside and laid everything out on the counter, reminded him what I ordered, and he rolled his eyes and huffed. He finally got the chicken quesadilla I had paid for, then slid it across the counter unmelted and uncut.
I don’t like causing problems when there’s a mistake, but the attitude was uncalled for. I wasn’t rude. I just wanted the food I paid for. Food is too expensive these days to walk away missing items or feeling like you’re being treated as a hassle for asking.
So check your bag and keep your receipt. If something is forgotten, they act like you’re the problem instead of just fixing it the right way.
