We ordered the chicken shawarma platter, beef shawarma platter, a falafel sandwich, and an order of falafel—and they even generously added a hummus plate to our order, which was such a nice touch. We stopped in while driving on Route 80 during a road trip, and it was conveniently off the highway—close enough that it didn’t require minimal rerouting, which made it a perfect stop. The space itself is very cute with thoughtful decor. It’s not a huge place, but we were a group of 5 adults and 3 kids and were able to sit comfortably. They also brought out a high chair for our son, which we really appreciated. The food was delicious—especially the beef shawarma, which was outstanding. We would definitely recommend Yalla Shawarma!
