The pizza I received did not match either request. I called the store and spoke with a man who would only identify himself as “the manager.” He first described an order that wasn’t mine, then insisted he remembered my pizza specifically and that it was made correctly. He repeatedly talked over me and would not let me explain the issue. When I asked for a chance to speak, he responded, “I’m talkin’ first. How you gonna say I need to give you a chance to speak when I’m still tellin’ my side?” He refused to give his name and said the only resolution was for me to call back in the morning to speak with the GM and request a credit. I drove to the store instead and spoke with a woman who identified herself as a manager on duty. After hearing the situation, she immediately offered to remake the pizza correctly, which was ready in about 20 minutes. Only after receiving my corrected order did I learn that the earlier manager’s name was Jay. The issue with the pizza was minor. The way the phone call was handled was not.
