We had already had bad experiences with Chipotle but the last one at the Chipotle restaurant in Fairlawn, OH was the last straw. They had about half a cup of rice left and a few beans, mind you it was around 7pm. We asked for 2 bowls but the guy instead of asking for more rice and beans scraped the containers and get us about half a cup of rice and 8 BEANS. My husband and I looked at each other in disbelief. I told him "Don't worry, we can wait for you to get more food from the kitchen" He looked at us dead serious and said "This is the normal portion size we serve.'" If we could have dropped our jaws on the counter... We thought for a moment it was a joke but no it wasn't. We have eaten at Chipotle for years it was our 4 kids favorite place. We couldn't believe it. We left of course without any food. So, today I was afraid of coming in, I was so sure they were gonna be very skimpy at filling those bowls since they were having such an offer. But WHAT A SURPRISE, the bowls were being generously filled! It felt like everyone there was on a mission to be generous with the portions and I was so surprised to see it. It actually makes it more bearable to pay now for the tortillas, they didn't charge before. Anyway, I just want it to praise this restaurant because they certainly did a great job today. I appreciate the BOGO and a night out with my family, that used to love Chipotle. Such a treat right for Thanksgiving Eve.
