Incredibly rude manager. I waited 10 minutes at the counter, no one in front of me and he said nothing to me until I asked if it would be faster to go to the drive-through. He said no; they were too busy. Then everyone in line behind me left.

Yum yum for the tum tum.
Drive thru order.
Fast filling and not at all good for my LDL and A1C.
I found "the meat" loom up the old commercials on Wendy's, where's the meat.

Everything was good they were short-staffed but that’s everywhere service could be a little better but all fast food restaurants don’t have the best service other than that everything was good

They refuse to take orders like a normal place and start making the food. They try and go One by One in the drive thru. Which might artificially make their DT times better for corprate but their inability to multi-task makes it suck for customers. Slowest suburban Wendy's ever.

This evening I had a business meeting in this area and I stopped to grab some food here. I placed a DoorDash order for pickup. I go in and there was only 1 employee working (and he was working on another order). There was a customer in front of me still waiting to place his order. There was one female washing dishes. I saw a middle aged white woman counting money in the back. She looked up at us and continued to count. We were never acknowledged. The one male employee working finally came out. He never greeted us but he did apologize for the wait and stated he was the only one working & looked over-worked and frustrated. While all of this is going on, 3 more customers came in. Then we saw another female come from the back and clocked out. She casually walked out and I was like wow. Wow because 30 yrs ago when I worked fast food, we were trained to never leave a co-worker stranded on the floor. I understand she may have worked 8hrs possibly or more. However, a good worker helps the team out and doesn’t think of moving selfishly. That’s not to say in this context selfishly means bad. A good worker would go above and beyond by seeing the lobby crowded and putting their belongings down and helping out where they can for a couple of seconds the leaving. She walked down the street so there wasn’t an uber waiting for her (which would’ve been understandable). This doesn’t mean that she had to clock back in and get a register especially not for 3 customers. But at least put some gloves on and make a sandwich, put some nuggets down, make a drink, hand some bags out. You know what I’m saying? I was trained to say “you good, how can I help you before I leave”, or (I would just step in where I see a need). That really bothered me as I’m big on customer service and not having customers wait longer than they should. As a matter of fact, this employee that left didn’t even acknowledge us. She said bye to the crew but that was it. The lady counting the money turns out she is a manager. I’m standing in front of a register she places the money in. She overlooks me, and then looks at me w/o a smile or greeting and says “picking up or placing”? WHAT?! I said I’m picking up an order. The male employee working says he’s working on it. So she makes me frosty and drink after he says “nuggets are coming up in 5”. I immediately ask can she place my frosty in the freezer as the food isn’t done yet. I also asked can she place my drink in the fridge as it has ice in it. Her demeanor was so rude, tacky, cold and just Dow right unprofessional. She said: “we don’t have a freezer. Your food is being bagged, you’re fine.” The customers waiting even voiced their disapproval about her exchange. I explained to her how is my food being bagged and he just said my meat isn’t ready yet. She got mad and walked away. I truly believe a tree is only as strong as its roots. I say that to say, if this is a depredation of their leadership here, this “tree” is not going to last. The workers will quit and or eventually become like her or worse. Anyway, back to my food. My frosty actually sat there until my food was ready which was about 5min because the male employee working was fixing other people’s orders when mine should’ve bee first as I was here first and my order is already paid for I’m just picking it up. In conclusion, I was told the didn’t have sugar cookies and I was offered a chocolate chip instead which I declined and said I wanted a refund. The manager said she couldn’t help me with that when she should’ve said please contact DoorDash support for your refund. The male worker whispered and said “here’s a extra, free, fresh frosty for you ok so sorry she was wan to you.” Let’s just say I don’t see myself retuning to this location due to service alone.
