Ordered food through thru and proceeded home with what I thought was my bag of food. Ordered 2 Smoky Bacon combos and when I got home my sandwiches were actually fish. I called the store up and spoke to a gentleman on the phone and he said the window girl grabbed the wrong bag. It’s my fault for pulling off and checking the food right then and there. Long story short, the guy said my name was being put in a book and to just come back and the sandwiches would be correctly made. Went back, and the window girl said that my name isn’t in the books and she had no idea what I was talking about. I have the bank transaction id, amount, date and nothing to show for it but attitude. I should have checked for order accuracy right then and there but I guess I should have known better. Good food, most of the time, but failure to keep promises and honor mistakes. Edit: spoke with Kathy, the manager, and she was very polite and a very friendly voice to talk too. She apologized for the mix-up and everything is back to being good again. It was a great and appreciated gesture to reach out and make everything right. I wish more managers followed her example in today’s day and age. Thank you for the great response!!! Edit 2: Went this past Monday to get the food that was promised to be remade and I didn’t think lightening could strike twice. I pulled into drive thru and told window person what happened and who I talked too and they told me there is no person with that name there and that there is no manager log with names in it. So 2 times now I have been told I can’t get the food that I paid for. I will never return to this location again. I don’t know if this is normal practice anymore but I will just get McDonald’s or Burger King after dialysis from here on out. Never have I ever experienced something like this.
