  Saw terrible reviews. “Can’t be worse than chipotle in union center.” Thought I. Took my chances. Great experience. Employees chipper. Probably 5 or 6 employees get’n it done. Was very relived and satisfied. Burrito was so stacked it could stand on its own.

  All 4 people on shift November 13th, 2025 at around 8:50pm need better management immediately. Restaurant was demolished, Drink machines empty and dry looking, Food was everywhere, like 1.5 people were working. Some dude was just pacing back and forth shooting it with the 2 ladies in the back. Whoever is managing this restaurant is doing a poor job. The lady closed my to go meal and then proceeded to just walk off without checking me out. I'm just standing there while they all casually chit chat until I call and ask to be checked out, they all look at me confused. Then the guy at the front of the assembly line has to remove his gloves to come check me out instead of the 3 idle and closer people. Never will go back.

  This is by a thousand miles the worst service I've experienced at a chipotle before, going multiple times it takes a bare minimum of 15+ minutes for them to serve one person, God forbid there's multiple people in front of you. even the pickup lane for order ahead always has a 30+ minute backup (I once waited 45 minutes in line only for 2 cars to get their orders in that time yet the walk in customers were getting served in 5 minutes) the staff have all been rude and unprofessional each time I've gone. Just all around terrible service across the board every single day

  Might as well hit the highway, go north 2 exits and go to the Franklin Chipotle. The food and service isn’t even comparable. Asked for double steak at the Middletown location. They made an extra effort to give me attitude for even asking, THEN went out of their way to charge me for QUADRUPLE steak. $34 bowl. WHAT?!?! Told them forget about it. Got in my car and drove to the Franklin location out of curiosity. They were so generous I didn’t even have to ask for extra steak. $13 bowl!! Not only were they generous on protein I got free tortillas and chips because it was the end of the night. My bowl was overflowing. And the flavor was off the charts. The employees kindness was like night and day. The Middletown Chipotle is run by the most unemployable people and they are lucky to have a job the way they act and treat customers. A man just needed extra protein not a mild financial loss.

  Every time you go you get a new issue, I still cannot believe the management is not addressed. DISGUSTING cold line, UNDERCOOKED rice, DIRTY lobby, RUDE employees, BAD managers who are on the phone and rude to the small amount of good staff. I’ve noticed such a heavy rotation in staffing there, I wonder why? This is such a great location for a chipotle, but such bad reviews consistently. How many times do you guys need to refund people for horrible food and give copy paste replies to bad reviews before actually addressing the issues. I’d not be shocked if there were other concerns there the customer cannot see with how poorly maintained this location is. Don’t expect to be greeted, get warm/well cooked food, have a clean floor to walk on, etc.
