  I am in Nursing school and have been studying all day for my final. I don’t cook much because of school so I ordered pizza for my kids and steak hoagies for me and my husband. I go get it and when I get home I discover that they gave me 2 mushroom hoagies instead of a mushroom and regular hoagie like I ordered! I call the store and the man that handed me my food (I don’t know his name) answered the phone I said hey I was just in there and you gave me two mushroom hoagies instead of what I ordered, I don’t eat mushrooms! He replies oh yeah ok I can tell the manager in the morning so she can replace it. Me being dumb founded and not liking confrontation just says um ok. He says ok have a good night and hangs up. So I decided to call back to see if it can get remade tonight because of course I’m hungry and I just spent my money on this food. I call back 3 times the phone rings and rings and rings. My husband calls, the man answers before it can even fully ring one time. My husband said why didn’t you answer my wife’s call but answer mine on the first ring. The man was silent. (I don’t think he expected that) My husband says you messed up her order and she is hungry, the man gets defensive and says ok I’m busy I can’t answer every call. My husband said no your not that busy that you couldn’t answer her call they go back and forth a little bit, the worker then says with an attitude bring it up and we can fix it. My husband was frustrated and said forget it he’ll just order me something else. The worker then hung up! I felt like this was very rude and the worker was in fact being funny! I feel like since it was around 9:15ish and they close at 10, it was easier to push my order off to the manager in the morning. I also feel like he saw my number calling and didn’t answer it! I love Donatos but I honestly rarely come here and this is why! This is not my first bad experience. This is just the first time I’ve written a review and I will be up at the store in the morning because I just wasted my money on food I did not even eat!

  I use to absolutely LOVE Donatos, it was my go to, but not anymore. Not only was my pizza over a half hour late.... It was cold, undercooked, and it was cut like a jigsaw puzzle. Money has been extremely tight for awhile now so this is very upsetting to me. I shouldn't have to pay for a pizza that I can't eat. I had to pitch it because I'm staying in a hotel right now and I don't have an oven..... This is so messed up because now it's closed. Looks like my elderly mother and I will be going to bed hungry! THANKS DONATOS FOR ALL THE GUILT AND SHAME I AM FEELING SENDING MY MOTHER TO BED WITH AN EMPTY TUMMY 😭
