He called right away and was told to come back the next day for a refund. When my husband drove back through a winter blizzard after work today. The manager refused to refund the soups and sandwiches unless we brought the soup back. We had already thrown it away because it wasn’t a meal without the sandwiches (pick 2) and we were never told we needed to save it. The general manager repeatedly said she couldn’t refund the soups and only the sandwiches because “it’s not store policy.” So even though Panera forgot half the order and made the rest unusable, they would only refund the sandwiches. Terrible customer service and completely unreasonable policy.
