The line wasn’t long, but the counter where the food is made was filthy , food was thrown all over, and employees were dragging people’s bowls through it, causing clear cross-contamination. The woman making bowls looked visibly angry and frustrated, and the overall attitude from staff was that no one wanted to be there. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I was told they were out of cheese, sour cream, white rice, queso, and chips. Had I known that beforehand, I never would have waited. The trash cans were overflowing, and the dining area looked poorly maintained. I ended up with just chicken and brown rice, and no one offered any kind of apology or compensation for the poor experience. I’ve had good experiences with Chipotle before, but this visit was completely unacceptable.
