Walked in to a customer who was annoyed, walked up to the counter and was meet by an older lady who must have been having a bad day, I wanted to place a to-go order, and had a couple of questions that were meet with some remarks as if I had annoyed the lady for asking. So I proceeded to order a chicken nugget kids meal, a Jack-O-Lantern Whopper just the sandwich with a small iced mocha , and a whopper meal. After a pan fell in the cooking area an employee screamed, and the older lady yelled back “NO YELLING”. I received my order, and left. After eating, later that evening both my fiancé and I became sick, with symptoms of food poisoning, and became worse as the night and next day went on. On Friday Oct 18, 2025, my dad went to the location on Secor road, later that evening into the next day, he became ill with the same symptoms of food poisoning, he had also eaten a whopper meal. Now I know this is two different locations, but very alarming that 3 people from 2 locations became ill from whoppers, with the same exact symptoms. I honestly will be scratching Burger King off our list of places to eat, but after the atmosphere of the conant street location, I just won’t be returning at all. I really hope Burger King sees this review, and actually looks into their meats, and I really hope more people haven’t gotten sick.
