I tried the rice cake at the booth they had in AFF, I’d say food was ok, but people who working or own the place were NOT. I had a really disappointing experience involving this business owner at the Asian Food Festival on Sunday night.
While we were waiting for our friends to finish their volunteer shifts, we witnessed the owner behaving extremely disrespectfully toward the event staff. The volunteers simply asked him to move his car so other vehicles could exit, which was a reasonable and necessary request. Instead of cooperating, he became rude, impatient, and confrontational. His attitude escalated quickly, and he used inappropriate and offensive language toward people who were just trying to keep things running smoothly.
It was uncomfortable to watch, especially given that these volunteers were giving their time to support the event. This kind of behavior reflects very poorly on the business and leaves a negative impression. I hope the owner takes a moment to reflect and treat others with more respect in the future.
I personally would NOT come back for this business.

The guy at the counter was very nice and helped me figure out what I wanted to order. The spicy pork was so tender and the ingredients were very fresh for 3pm on a Tuesday. Incredibly fast service! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant!
If you’re looking for some authentic korean street food. This is the right place. As Koreans, we have been looking for more diverse cuisine in the Ohio area. This place is truly nostalgic to all the Korean food I crave when I want a quick and light meal.
The Raymun bar is self serve. It’s just like how you would cook ramyun at a convenient stores in Korea and Han River. It’s perfect because it cooks just right. You have so many choices to pick from at Kim me bap. Most loved and famous ramyun can be found here.
If you want to dare, maybe try some fishcake soup with Kimbap. It really hits the spot. Especially on a cold day. The fiskcake soup is kind of like chicken stock (fish stock) and comes with fish cake. It is a a Taste that got a acquire taste but it really goes well with Kim bap.
I hope this place is not just KPOP viral thing.
This food place is like daily food that Koreans love to eat.
As a Korean myself, tried almost everything is sooooo good.
It is really good food! I have been there a few times and is always consistent.
GimMeBap is such a fun and refreshing addition to the Mason food scene. The atmosphere is upbeat and cozy, with K-pop playing and a casual street-food vibe that makes the whole experience feel unique. The staff were welcoming and patient when I had questions about the menu, which made it easy to try something new without feeling rushed.
The food really stands out. The gimbap had a great balance of flavors and fresh ingredients, and the rice bowls were hearty and comforting. I especially loved the option to cook your own ramen in-store. It adds an interactive touch that you don’t usually find around here. Everything came out quickly and tasted like authentic Korean comfort food.
Like any fast-casual spot, some menu items will appeal more than others depending on your taste, but overall the quality and experience make this place well worth a visit. If you’re looking for something different, affordable, and genuinely enjoyable, GimMeBap is absolutely worth checking out.
