I brushed it off but then when I was waiting for my food, I saw how he was talking to the other employees… very condescending and bossing people around when he wasn’t even making the food. I noticed the distress from the other employees and I feel for them. I know how a toxic work environment can be and I hope Panera can see this and do something about it..

I had asked her what the normal ratio for coffee and milk were as I was picking up food for a friend and I dont drink coffee. She was trying to explain when the male manager stepped in (unpromted) and said we'll the coffee is right there and the milk is right there, in a very condescending tone. I told him "I'm aware but its not for me and I dont drink coffee". He then told the associate "you have other things to do". The lady who checked me out was very nice and told me her suggestion. As a manager in retail I'm APPALLED by this behavior from a manager!
