This happened at our favorite playplace and now we feel unwelcomed there. On new year's, I took my son to the playplace in our area. I only wanted a happy meal (choc milk. extra fry toy) with a 4pc chckn strips L meal (L fry, Lcoke). Our table service was lacking, where the lady who came over dropped everything while entering the playplace and here's what we got when she was done replacing: Missing: toy. L fries Incorrect: received a coke can instead of L coke. When I informed this and that I wanted a large drink and got a can incorrectly, I was told that they're out of CO2. I wasn't informed of that before, so I asked if I could get an extra can since I ordered a Lcoke for the quantity. I was immediately denied and when I tried to request further by indicating that I ordered a L coke for the quantity, I was treated with hostility, shot down on the request with no apology whatsoever and the only option I was given was a refund for the coke. Since I wasn't interested in eating my food without a coke, I simply asked that I believe refunded for the entire meal. I was asked to give back the food and since we hadn't started eating, I was more than willing to return it and get my refund. There was a similar place across street that I could get a coke at and I just wanted a satisfying meal on the new year, which wasn't really going well for me. I paid 15.92, but the manager informed me that he can refund 15.00. when I protested and wasn't wanting to pay 0.92 for an insulting service, the manager, who was already speaking in a rude manner, started speaking loudly over me and was very dismissive with no regard to the difference in the amount I paid vs what I was being refunded. My 4yo was with me, and even when I asked him to calm down and listen to what I had to say, he kept yelling at me that 15.00 is all that he could refund me. The kiosk hadn't generated a receipt, so I wasn't ready to accept a lower refund and asked for my receipt to pursue this matter the next day with someone qualified to have a decent discussion. I was informed that he's the manager and there was no one else who could help me. When I said that I was charged what I was at the kiosk, the manager kept shouting that he wasn't the one who charged me and the kiosk is not him (?). I was perplexed with how to communicate to him that the kiosk belongs to the store and whatever charges from there are the store's responsibility. He denied me all options, including a decent calm conversation, my receipt and anyone I can escalate to. I felt defeated and since I was already having a bad first day of the new year, I begged for him to just give my money back so I can leave. But he kept denying me everything including the money I paid. I was unable to bear this insult and had a meltdown that attracted other customers who tried to reason with him to no avail. He kept arguing that if he added even a sauce cup to the refund order, it will go over 15.92 and that he cannot do that. The max he could refund was 15.87. Since I was already insulted for no fault of mine when the fault was in their service and emotionally attacked for asking a proper service, I wasn't ready to accept anything lesser that what I paid. I kept pleading the other employees for anyone else I can talk to, since the manager himself couldn't keep his calm. My child was traumatized seeing him shout at me and didn't stop even when I started crying and other customers kept telling him that there is a child and that he shouldn't be shouting at customers that way. He never stopped even with everyone getting involved. Kept behaving as of I was asking for something that I did not pay for. Eventually someone call another person and she told him to add a sauce cup that was 0.30 and close the issue. I couldn't stop crying for a long time after he reluctantly refunded 16.16 to me and my son was weeping along with me at that point. It isn't right that a 4yo had to take up on himself to make his mom happy. And as a mom, I regret ever setting foot in that place expecting a fun time for my kid.

Waiting in the drive-through I had someone cut five cars to cut in the other drive-through. Then once I paid for my food I pulled up and then I was asked to pull up even further for two breakfast sandwiches and then proceeded to wait 10 minutes for those breakfast sandwiches if I could give it zero out of 10, I would do not go there. Then to top it all off after waiting 10 minutes for a breakfast sandwich, they were cold.

This is the typical local McDonald’s. Food is not great. Staff is overworked due to understaffing. Don’t ask questions because most can’t speak English to answer you.
