When I told the employee I was missing two burgers, she responded rudely and said, “OK, just give me all your food back then.” I tried to explain that it didn’t make sense to remake the entire order when the only thing missing was the two burgers I already paid for. Instead of listening, she slammed the sliding window and went to get the manager. The employee clearly lacked emotional intelligence and basic communication skills, which made the situation more frustrating than it needed to be. When the manager came to the window, she handled the situation well and professionally. She listened, understood the issue, and resolved it quickly without any unnecessary attitude or confusion. I appreciated her approach. Overall, the manager’s professionalism stood out, but the initial interaction with the employee m who lacked emotional intelligence made the experience unnecessarily stressful.
