We decided to go on to Outback on Veterans Day, which is typically a busier day for restaurants, because of the promotion. The hostess was the shining star of the night. Although it was chaotic around 6 when we got there, she was still smiling, with a positive attitude, and trying her best.
Once seated, our experience went downhill. Our waitress took a while to initially come over, which set the tone for the rest of the night. Between being seated and getting our drinks, roughly 15 minutes passed. A table near us actually got their appetizer before getting their drinks. We ordered our food as soon as she came back with drinks because we didn't know when we'd see her again.
The manager was making his rounds and provided my boyfriend a coupon for future visits at this time for his service, but we didn't flag anything in hopes things would get better and not wanting to be "those customers."
When the food came out, my burger, which I ordered well-done, was medium. I normally would just send it back. No harm, no foul. We all mess up. But we never saw our waitress at our table again. We literally sat there for 20-25 minutes without her even looking at us. I did try to eat some of the burger in the meantime since I was hungry, but that was a huge mistake. I ended up sick later that night.
The manager making his rounds noticed I hadn't touched my burger much and asked me about it, so I let him know, and he explained that they had just that day switched to 8oz burger patties from 6oz so his chefs were learning and he'd have it replaced. I'm curious as to why they would switch patty sizes on such an anticipated busy day?
Anyway, we asked for the burger and our desserts, which were included in our meals, to go at this point. Another 20-25 minutes pass and the manager comes out with my burger packed up to go and asks if anyone came out with our dessert yet. Nope. He was the last person we talked to. No one has been around for refills or anything else. He went back and got our desserts and apologized again. He said they weren't expecting this turnout for Veterans Day. I did tell him that this was the worst experience we had had eating out in a long time and about the timing of the drinks for not only us but the other table, which he said was absolutely crazy and that he would check in with his staff.
I also overheard the waiter behind us who "took over" a table from our waitress say that they had given her 2 large tables and a table of 2 (us), which is ridiculous that they would give her so much, so he was taking them over. I held my tongue, but I wanted to say that she hadn't waited on us in over 45ish minutes, even when the parties were smaller and before the larger ones arrived.
Lastly, our bill was messed up. They had comped my meal, not my boyfriend's. My boyfriend's was more expensive, but he is the veteran, not me. The manager did fix it and provided a second coupon for future use, but I doubt we will be back after this.

Visited this place on Veterans day before noon, there was a wait time, no servers, no bar tenders, and plenty of empty tables, but a long wait time, no excuse for not having workers on Veterans day, my Mother and I sat at the bar to get a drink while we were waiting, waited 10 mins, no bar service, so we left and went to Logans, where the service was great and no wait time at least they knew what to do on Veterans day!!!

We went yesterday for our anniversary and they were amazing. The place was so clean and the people were so nice. Our waiter ( I'm so sorry I can't remember his name ) was absolutely perfect, he was so welcoming and helpful when we had questions and he didn't come over when our mouths were full of food, and he gave us a free ice cream for our anniversary. Food was amazing, the chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy, everything on the sandwiches was fresh and delicious. Absolutely would recommend!!!!

We have not been to the restaurant in over a year. We went there 10/11/2025 we had a small wait no big deal there. After seated it went down hill. We ordered 1/2 order cheesy fry which came lukewarm. Waiter brought bread and butter, room temp, and tasted like it was from last week. We waited a very long time for our food , I ordered the prime rib, it was tough, lukewarm and just not very tasteful. Boyfriend got 6 oz. Filet . Waiter said they had to wait on the mashed potatoes?? Did he want something else. They brought mashed potatoes, lukewarm. Waiter said he would put in another order for a loaf of bread which we never got and he saw the half of the bread from which we complained about still on the table. I figure it'll be another year before we go back there again if we go back, to Mansfield, Ohio. Very slow for everything we went through to the end when we left. We will just find somewhere else to go
