  My wife and I ordered the flatiron steaks , her’s done well and mine done Medium. My steak was good no issues. My wife brought her’s home. Later that night my wife offered me her leftovers. The Steak was absolutely unbeatable so much grizzle throughout and you couldn’t chew it. I wished my wife would have told me at the restaurant but she didn’t. We have not gone back and probably won’t again.

  I want to say Deymond does an amazing job at catering our events we had Scratch cater two of our events the food everyone loved.. he is very reasonably priced and the service is great. Definitely recommend them for your next catering event…

  I’m honestly so disappointed, for starters I want to say we love the idea of supporting local and were so excited to try scratch for the first time. The biggest issue we had was our steaks and the quality of them. I ordered the 16 ounce dry aged ribeye, medium with the horseradish topping. My first steak brought out was well well done, I sat and waited almost 10 minutes until it appeared the owner noticed I wasn’t eating and went to find our server. (There were maybe 3 tables in the restaurant at the time, it wasn’t busy and we appeared to be her only table) The server offered me “a discount or a replacement” honestly I felt like a little bit of both would have been appropriate. The steak that came next was still overcooked, and was so under-seasoned. By the time my steak came out my wife had already been done eating her strip, which honestly had the texture of a cheap sirloin. The owner was very nice about the issue which I appreciate but 70$ for my meal felt crazy. I substituted a side that came with my meal with a wedge salad and still somehow paid full price for the salad even though It was supposed to be an upcharge from whatever the regular side would be? How does that make sense? This was our first time going out alone since our daughter was born almost six months ago, I hate leaving a disappointing review but scratch was not worth the money.
