  I love Barrio don’t get me wrong. They have some really nice servers but it can be really hit or miss. This is the second time my online pickup order has been messed up which is frustrating especially after you drive back home. Some extra attention to detail is needed :(

  We had a great experience at Barrio Tacos, and a huge part of that was our server, Abbie. My friends and I went on a Saturday night around 7 PM and only had about a 15-minute wait, which wasn’t bad at all for how busy it was. As soon as we sat down, Abbie greeted us right away and immediately matched our vibe. She was super energetic, fun, and made the whole table feel comfortable from the start. A few of us had never been there before, and she took the time to explain the menu, go over drink specials, and give recommendations without making it feel overwhelming. She honestly made the experience. You can tell she really cares about her job and the people she’s serving. She was attentive without being overbearing, checked in at all the right times, and kept everything moving smoothly. Our drinks came out quickly, and everything was delicious. The food was great, the prices were very reasonable, and the atmosphere was fun and lively. There’s also a big parking lot behind the restaurant and free street parking, which made it really easy. Overall, I’d highly recommend this place, but especially if you get Abbie as your server. She made the whole night and deserves recognition for how great she is.

  After placing an order for a set pick up time, an hour from then as we don't live in kent... drive there have to wait an additional 10 mins or so while they finished up the order.. to get home to find the dessert we ordered no where in the bag with the other food. .. gas prices make it not economical to drive back for... but the food is tasty....

  $80 for a terrible experience. Our waitress was nice but she seemed frustrated. Busy place, not enough staff and I understand staffing can be tough these days. Our food took almost 2 hours and when it finally came out the majority of it was cold. My crunchy taco shell sat for so long it was soggy, rice was ice cold like it was just taken out of the fridge. My husband ordered a veggie taco and it was like the kitchen thought there was going to be protein in the taco, barely anything inside the taco but a few toppings. Margaritas took forever and were terrible. We used to live in Cleveland and loved Barrio but the locations in this area suck and are WAY overpriced for what you get. I feel totally ripped off.
