In 2006, the Altomare brothers returned to Hudson, Ohio, a place they once called home, to embark on a dream they always held of once again working together alongside their father. Their dream became a reality in October of 2006 when the doors of Hudson’s Restaurant opened for the first time, creating a new Hudson landmark. Their hope is that one day history may repeat itself by J.J. and Kevin’s children, washing dishes on a milk crate – just the way they got started in the family business.
My office is nearby and getting Hudson's makes it a treat when I have to go in and work from there. The spinach dip and gluten free chocolate cake are my favorites. I love how they go all out for the holidays too.

Exceptional. Right on the square. Excellent cocktails. Really nice food - don’t miss the Loaded House Chips (as they sound, and worth the visit all on their own). Awesome, very welcoming service.

Nobody at hostess stand nor did anyone address us while we waited for 15-20 minutes. Food looked great wish I could have tried it.

This is basically a diner but the food prices are very high for the quality of food. The interior is a bit dated but would be fine, maybe charming, if it weren't expensive. The holiday decorations they do are nice for kids, and I will say it is a kid friendly restaurant in my experience. But overall it seems they think they are not a diner and charge accordingly but the food is not quite there. Chicken tenders, tater tots, and fries are on point though. They also had a Guinness draft "special" and the special was $9.50 for a Guinness. That's more than you'd pay in a nice restaurant in a major city. I don't understand why you'd call it a special when you're charging more than anyone has every charged for that beer. The staff has always been nice. One other odd thing is the men's room has smelled outrageously bad the last two times I went, and not just from someone having just come out because I went in more than once. Not sure what is going on back there but I've been in outhouses that smelled better.
