Build-your-own tacos, creatively crafted margaritas and a wide range of tequila & whiskey all served in a stunning, artistically designed Day of the Dead-themed location in Hudson. Eye catching interior, bar, and patio - all with the feel of a close-knit lively neighborhood.
Worst dining experience in years. Food took 30+ minutes (for tacos) and came out cold and dehydrated. Every single waiter/waitress looked like they just woke up and hadn’t had coffee yet. I love to leave positive reviews, but I will never come back.

Much better than marcilitas which closed years ago. Barrio is a big city type of Mexican restaurant.

My wife and I stopped for first time after returning home from a road trip. We were greeted politely by the hostess and informed of a 12 to 15 minute wait.
We sat at the bar and wondered why there was a wait with three open tables clearly visible. But we waited patiently for about 15 min for our drinks that we ordered. Maybe it was due to the single bartender working on a saturday night in downtown Hudson. After investing that much time waiting for drinks, we decided to eat at the bar. We ordered our food from the predesigned taco/bowl menu. We both got bowls. My wife got the bacon ranch bowl and I got the El Jeffe. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We were disappointed in the fact that it was served in a cardboard bowl with plastic utensils. We looked around to confirm we didn't step into a Chipotle by accident. Both bowls were warm, but not hot. My wive's bowl the only one not designated as spicy was just as spicy as the El Jeffe. We both managed to eat half our meals. We did bring the left overs home. Im sure our boys will scoop them up for one of their daily grazing meals. All in all not a bad or poor restaurant. Unfortunately in our opinion it is a glorified Chipotle with booze.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I walk in and see a server scurry by me with a fake smile on her face. When me and my daughter are waiting to get seated, the servers piled behind a partition that we could clearly see them behind. I will NEVER go back, and I won't recommend it either. The people in Hudson that run the businesses are funny acting. I could use another word but I will leave it out for now...m
