We made reservations for a birthday party for the dining area. When we arrive, they told us they could not accommodate us. They sat us over near all the games at separate tables that were not close to each other. Our food took an hour and a half to come out and some people in the party never even received their meals. Our appetizers came out after our food was already finished. The managers finally came over after our server told us that she had asked them five times to come speak with us. They did nothing but made excuses and made no way to accommodate us in any way. We drove an hour and 15 minutes each way to come to your facility. Our experience was absolutely horrible. The manager’s names were Deborah and AJ. Our server, Ranicka, Was very apologetic and did the best she could but had very little support from upper management. This issue needs addressed.

Very disappointing experience due to poor management and extremely delayed service during what should have been a special birthday celebration. We visited this Dave & Buster’s to celebrate our special needs son’s birthday with a reserved party of 18. Despite placing a reservation a week in advance and arriving on time, our table had been given away. The manager, Debbie, worked to rearrange tables after our group was split, and we were eventually seated nearby one another. Service issues continued throughout the visit. Orders were taken by individual families, resulting in food coming out at different times. Meals were missing or incorrect, one person never received their food, and appetizers were served after everyone had finished eating. The birthday boy’s meal arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes later, long after everyone else had eaten. We requested to speak with a manager twice. The server said she asked Debbie multiple times, but she never came to our table. Another manager, AJ, later apologized and cited short staffing. This shift was clearly poorly managed. If the kitchen was overwhelmed, seating should have been paused. We drove over an hour for this celebration, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. We will not be returning or recommending this location.

We visited Dave & Buster’s in Hilliard on a Saturday night around 6:00 PM, and unfortunately it was a miserable experience from start to finish. We waited about 10 minutes just to reach the hostess stand. We were told the wait would be 10–15 minutes, which turned into over 30 minutes. It was a busy Saturday night, so we were understanding and patient. When we found there was a wait, I attempted to do an Eat & Play deal on our game card so our kids could use that deal while we waited, even though this option is available on the kiosk. The General Manager on duty refused to help and told me we had to wait until we were seated. Unfortunately, kiosks cannot scan gift cards, which made that solution impossible. As a result, we were unable to use the games for over 30 minutes while waiting for a table, leaving our kids sitting and waiting instead of being able to play. Once seated, we were ready to order immediately and placed an order for two appetizers and a meal. After that, we waited over 45 minutes with no food. Eventually, our waitress came back and told us that our food had been served to another table. By the time our food actually arrived, it was 7:55 PM—nearly two hours after we arrived. During this entire time, our kids were left sitting at the table for extended periods, waiting for food and unable to enjoy the games as intended. Throughout the evening, the lack of leadership from the General Manager on duty was obvious. I watched him repeatedly walk past tables that needed to be bussed while guests waited to be seated. One table directly in front of us had a single plate left behind after guests left, and it sat untouched for over 25 minutes, despite the GM walking past it multiple times. Rather than managing efficiently—using a bus cart or directing staff—he appeared busy without actually being effective. I also overheard staff approaching him for help, only to receive dismissive or unhelpful responses that focused more on criticism than support or stepping in to resolve issues. Later in the evening, another manager named Henry came on shift, and the difference was immediate. Henry actively helped tables, communicated clearly with customers and staff, and stepped in wherever things were falling behind. Areas he managed ran noticeably better. I don’t know if this was just one bad night, but based on what we experienced and observed, the General Manager on duty struggled significantly with leadership, efficiency, and guest experience. When leadership breaks down at this level, it doesn’t just affect one shift or one location—it reflects poorly on the entire Dave & Buster’s brand. I’m sharing this because someone higher up should be aware—when leadership fails, it impacts staff, customers, and the reputation of the brand as a whole.

We went to just do the arcade, we didn’t eat or drink. However, when we got there I felt light headed, like I was going to pass out. One of the hosts (I wish I could remember her name!) noticed my mom and I sitting at one of the tables and came over to make sure everything was alright. My mom told her I was just feeling a little dizzy and the waitress brought over an ice water and asked if I needed something to eat. We thanked her but said I was fine and she said any fries or anything else we might need is on the house. It was so thoughtful and I felt cared so cared for. Thankfully, the dizzy spell passed and I was able to enjoy my time with my family. Thank you to the women working who helped us!!

We attempted to dine in on 12/21/2025 and I have to say this is by far the most poorly managed place of business that I have ever stepped foot in! The moment that my family of 5 enter the building we waited at least 15 mins to even be spoken to. I had to ask the host if we needed to wait to be seated or if we could just seat ourselves. After waiting, she finally seats us, however our table she places us at was in the back in the private party room with nobody else in site. Feeling very highly offended and racially profiled, we asked to speak to a manager. While waiting for the manager we see the host seat a Caucasian family in the general public. When attempting to address our concerns with the GM Antwan Pittman, he begins to apologize however proceeds to justify as to why we were place in the private room. Meanwhile back at the ranch, the private room had table settings on them with signs saying “please wait tine seated” which as a customer that indicated to me these tables have yet to be sat on all day! I continue to express my concerns in a professional manner but he refuses to look at me and then proceed to yell at me and cause a scene in his place of business. Not to mention, I had my kids with me who also witness the disrespect from Antwan Pittman. He then begins to insult me and says things like “he doesn’t have a boss” and “ I don’t want to listen” I feel that as a consumer who understands business needs this situation could have been handled differently and we could have found a resolution to our concerns. Antwan Pittman lacks professionalism, problem solving skills, and in my opinion needs to be re trained. He truly should not be the forefront of Dave and Busters and I feel that this should be address accordingly.
