- TGThe Otaku Guru4 days ago1.0It is genuinely mind bending to me that this Panera somehow runs out of things like no other location. Running out of bagels at 9am and saying you won’t make any more because there’s no demand? Uh… if there’s no demand, how did they sell out only 3 hours into your day? If there’s no demand, why is a customer in front of you trying to order one? This doesn’t even count the time that we showed up 2 1/2 hours before close to find out they were completely out of BREAD. At that point just make the name change from Panera BREAD to Panera official. It’s also wild how frequently the order is wrong when I go there. I don’t mean a special order, I mean things ordered off their menu come out wrong. The last 4 times my daughter drug me here, part of ALL of the order was wrong and not a single thing was special ordered. They can’t even properly make their own menu, it’s wild. Honestly I could deal with all that (for the most part) but every interaction I’ve had has been overwhelmingly rude. Just a disappointing situation all around.

Private equity has cut every corner possible with how the food is made and shrank portion sizes while keeping the end cost to consumers high. You can easily get better baked goods elsewhere, especially from local bakeries where the money actually stays in our community. Do not buy from Panera, do not reward private equity for making your customer experience worse.
