So I went to the gold star off of Nilles in Fairfield Ohio to get their deal for the three chili cheese coneys and I ordered six of them for me to get all the way back home and there be hardly any chili on my chili cheese Coney so when I took it back and asked them if they could make new ones and I said this is all the chili that you put on your coneys the girl said yes because when we put too much chili on them people complain about their buns getting soggy so I asked is there a certain ounce that they put on their coneys the girl said no but the young boy that was in the Drive-Thru said yes so because people complain about the Buns being soggy you guys decide to not put that much chili on their chili cheese coneys 🤔

I went here for lunch and experienced the rudest, most unprofessional woman. Her name was Tabby. She has a disgusting attitude and was upset with me for needing an additional request on an online order. I tried to tell her the request over the speaker, but she ended the intercom once I stated I placed an online order. She had a teenage boy bring my order to the window. It was incorrect, and he slammed the window shut in my face. I had to go in and listen to her mumble trash talk under her breath and I was completely ignored until a younger woman helped me with my order. Tabby then complained that I shouldn’t have ordered online because ordering over the intercom is easier. The irony of that statement is she abruptly ended the intercom before I could tell her my request! Their disgusting service is probably why they’re struggling vs the inferior chili of Skyline (their service is better!) Good help is clearly hard to find because the employees at this location are unprofessional and SLOW. I’ll be reporting this location to corporate because the owner couldn’t possibly care if the business is being ran like this. Pics of the rude employees are below :)

I love Gold Star but went inside to eat on Thursday 2/21/26 for dinner and no one says hello, have a seat I'll be right with you. No one even acknowledged us, took care of customers walking in after us and placing to go orders so after about 10-15 minutes of being ignored we left and went to Arby's. I've been a manager in food service for over 15 years greet your customers as soon as they walk in the door. If you are the only server and u are taking care of another customer then as soon as you walk away from that customer you greet the customers that just came in before u go back to the kitchen, before u take a front counter carry out that came in after the ungreeted customers

This place used to be great, USED to be. Thanks to new management service is as slow as ever, even better the manager will threaten to fight you (!) if you dare complain about your order taking 15 minutes. AVOID.

I tend to prefer the taste of skyline over gold star. Even though the local gold star restaurant is much much closer to my home than any skyline store, I've always tended to go to skyline in the past. Here lately I've chosen to go to the gold star drive through, just out of convenience. The people who work in that gold star always take great care of me. More importantly, I often have my 2 dogs with me and the Fairfield restaurant is always so kind to my dogs. They have earned my business, I've made the switch - the service at skyline doesn't even come close in comparison. Small things matter
