Make sure you check your fries before you leave here (unless the general manager, the polite African American guy, or the girl with the curly reddish hair makes your food). They will put extreme and dangerous amounts of salt in to your fries. To the point that you can’t even eat them. There was a younger guy with blonde hair working the fries today and he intentionally added an extreme amount of salt to my fries, which basically ruined my meal because I could not eat them. So paid $20.00 for a burger and fries and couldn’t even eat the fries. Overall the general manager there is a great employee and takes care of regulars, and there are a few amazing members of staff who do the same and take their job seriously. They will always make sure you have a great experience. But there are others that work there who should not be unsupervised because they intentionally mess up your order. For example, if the young Hispanic girl with the glasses is working when I come in, I just immediately walk out because I know she will give me far less fries than what I pay for. They are supposed to fill the fry container up and then dump in the other fries to the bag. The Latina girl will just fill up the container and then not add the extra fries. It’s happened to me 3 times, so I just choose to go somewhere else if I see that she is working. In the photos below those fries are AFTER I used a napkin to try and get as much salt as possible to eat them. The salt on the foil is what was there when I dumped the fries out of the container on to the foil. This amount of salt is genuinely dangerous and borderline an attempt on someone’s life.

I ordered via Uber eats, the order was cancelled because 2 drivers had to wait for the food and the food wasn’t prepared. The operator should looks into this because the food could have been made which cost them money or careless employees. This happened 8:30pm 11/28 order.
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.

How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
