- TGTom GilesJan 18, 20264.0Came early on a cold Sunday morning with my daughter, she had the chocolate chip banana muffin and it was very delicious, also had the French Vietnamese au lait and it was not too bad not the best cup I’ve had but I have had worse. Staff were very friendly and polite and answered questions I had with knowledge. Not busy and very relaxed atmosphere inside.

I went in and purchased a coffee for myself. And I asked if I could purchase a hot cup of water and a paper cup so that I can give it to my friend to warm her hands. The gentleman at the register seemed like he didn’t know what to do. Then what appeared to be a manager lady came over and said they couldn’t do that. I said I just wanna buy a cup of hot water like you would serve a teabag in with tea or something so that I can let my friend warm their hands. They said we can either charge you for a coffee or not we can’t sell any drink drinks without drinks in the cup. I said I just want a cup of hot water you can charge me for the cup and the water. They said they couldn’t do it and refused. Absolutely mind-boggling that there was no workaround for this request and they were quite snarky about their responses. This is not Customer Service and I will never go here again.
