Great BBQ! I had the brisket, baked potato and coleslaw. My wife had the sampler and we also had onion rings for an appetizer. Everything was good! Maybe the best brisket I’ve ever had! the bbq and dipping sauce for onions rings was delicious too

The staff was amazing! But the booths were torn and nasty looking. The food well it was lacking. The meat didn't taste smoked at all. Also I didnt see a smoker out back. We got burnt ends and they tasted like they were baked and had no flavor or seasoning. Also got the sliders and the meat was swimming in BBQ sauce. Maybe tried to hide the fact that it is just mediocre meat. Im sorry I wouldn't waste your time or money.

We stopped for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were at the Warther Museum and one of the staff there recommended Sammy Sue's. First of all, the place is kind of hidden. We drove by it the first time and had to circle back. You enter on the side of the building. Right away you are greeted by the smell of BBQ and you know it will be authentic. We were immediately greeted and were told to sit where we like. The dining area is kind of a mish mash of different decor. The seats are a little worn but the place has a comfortable feel. They have canned beer and I chose a local one. The special was Italian beef sandwich so I chose that. My wife had the brisket sandwich. Our server was very friendly and answered all my questions about the food. For sides, I had slaw and my wife, the potato salad. The slaw is the creamy variety. Sandwiches were delivered to the table in about 15 minutes. The Italian is sliced very thin then marinated in Italian dressing. Served with au jus and pickled vegetables on the side for added flavor. It was quite good. My wife also enjoyed the brisket, tender and tasty. Service was excellent and we left happy with our meal experience.
