  Food was okay? Mega overpriced it tasted generic/safe the banana pudding tasted like something I’d buy at the store my rib tips was mostly bone the brisket was okay the mac and cheese tasted bland needs more cheese otherwise it’s just slightly wet noodles the country gravy tho amazing I really dislike a lot of country gravy but i enjoy this places country gravy the country fried chicken bowl had 1/5th meat and the rest was filler? Idk I’ll stick to el mezcal for this price point I’m hoping for a different experience in a few months when I try this place again eventually

  Really like the food there, the cooks are really good at what they do. Definitely will go back there !! My daughters and I like the food.

  Outstanding! From the Detroit area was in town for a couple hours. Did the infamous "food near me " search on Google. I'm a sucker for BBQ and smoked meats, had to check it out. Definitely not disappointed, the guy taking my order spoke with confidence so I had a feeling I was in good hands. I got a pound of brisket. When I tell you this is top 5 for favorite brisket for me. I am not lying. Thats running up against both Blacks BBQs throughout Texas, against Rudy's in Texas and Denver. I absolutely love the use of cracked pepper here. The smoke in the meat still prominent, however the smoke isn't the only you taste here, which I loved. Also order the jumbo wings. Wish I order a couple orders. Nailed it! Smoked ot perfection. Again giving more than just smoked meat. I wasn't quiet ready to get food of this quality from a little spot in Ohio. I will be back for sure. The Mac n cheese is great too. Only thing that left a little be desired was the baked beans. They.are for sure edible, I was just hoping they were sauced up a bit more, and possibly even smoked with the meats. Awesome job Mavericks! Just a heads up, Plymouth Mi is a great location for a business with offerings this well. They BBQ joint there is actually closing soon, and moving to some tropical island. If you are looking to expand. This place would be a great fit. The current place sells out daily and closes early
