- FFFabio3 days ago5.0My first fast food experience in the United States was absolutely sensational, and Five Guys truly set the bar high with its incredible food and atmosphere. The burger was juicy and flavorful, the fries were perfectly seasoned, and the high-energy, classic environment made the meal even more enjoyable. Combined with the fast and friendly service, it was the perfect introduction to American burgers and an experience I won't forget.

Ordered a combo of small burger, fries, and drink. It came in a to-go bag even though I planned to eat in. I asked for grilled onions and mayo on the burger. Check out the picture to see the tiny chopped onions and dab of mayo. It tasted fine, but looked skimpy. The famous fries are not crispy. They were limp and squishy like mashed potatoes. Tasted fine but I'm a fan of crispy fries. And the price was higher than the meal deserved. I wonder if any of this had to do with why the place was basically deserted.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
