Came upon this place by accident, but saw “flame grilled” and had to see what it was about. We ordered the Burgers Carne with mild spice and they were delicious! Just the right amount of heat to add that extra kick. The falafels were crispy. The establishment itself was impressive! The decor/tables/lighting/fireplace made the place look as if it were expensive, but prices were competitive with other sit down restaurants. The establishment was super clean. Bathrooms were upgraded and clean. Kids meal options were great and they do have a very good creamy Mac and cheese that you would see at a steakhouse. Staff was attentive and helpful. Had a great experience and will definitely go again!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. A special thanks to Shenaaz for the amazing service. She was very friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Her positive attitude and professionalism really made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

If you’re in the mood for amazing grilled chicken, look no further than The Port of Peri Peri! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hands down, this is the best grilled chicken in Columbus. The flavor is absolutely incredible — perfectly marinated, juicy on the inside, and grilled to perfection with that smoky char that makes every bite unforgettable. The peri peri sauces are bold, flavorful, and customizable to your heat preference, whether you like it mild or extra spicy. The sides are just as delicious, and everything tastes fresh and made to order. On top of that, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent service every time. If you’re searching for Columbus’ best grilled chicken, The Port of Peri Peri is the place to go. Highly recommend! 🔥🍗

The service was not good at all we ordered our food and waited for more than 45 min. And waited for the rest to come and they forgot about it and we had to go up and ask 2 times to get it and the rest of the people that were there got there food first and there was not a lot of space it was cramped and they did not treat us the same way they did for the other people

My biggest disappointment was the portion size and price. It has never happened with me in the past that I've paid 40$ for 2 people in a non-fancy(no table service) restaurant and then go to a fast food restaurant because we were not full. Its diabolical to charge 19$ for a 4 inch Sandwich with 2 grilled tenderloins + a small portion of fries and have the audacity to charge additional 75 cents for a half filled cup of ranch. And I had to order and pay for everything on a kiosk, even when I asked for some Ranch in the middle of the meal, I had to go to the kiosk and order there. Now coming back to the Taste, it was just average, chicken leg&thigh was not very flavorful while the rice was on the chewier side and the salad didn't come with any dressing. Now comes the comparison part with the OGs Nando's Peri Peri. The Price at Nandos in DC which is a stone's throw away from the White House is 30% cheaper than this restaurant in Carriage place while the taste and portion size is nowhere close. PS: I love Nando's and my review may look like I am biased, but the point is if you have similar menu as a global restaurant chain, comparison is natural and sometimes beneficial if you serve better food than them. The whole reason for this critical review is not to discourage the people from trying this place, it's rather an eye opener for the restaurant which I would love to succeed and continue serving Columbus.
