Last year, the team was clearly struggling without a manager, yet they worked incredibly hard despite being understaffed and unsupported. Today was a completely different story. Why this visit earned 5 stars: • Atmosphere & Culture: The vibe was happy and positive. You can tell the team genuinely wants to be there, and the shop was spotless with perfectly leveled music.(I honestly wasn’t in the best mood when I arrived when I left my head was bopping into the music and I I’m in a great mood) • Efficiency: I ordered takeout and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. • Quality: The order was 100% accurate and the food was delicious. • effective and present Leadership: The most noticeable difference is the presence of competent leadership. The hospitality has always been great, but it’s now backed by a team that clearly feels supported and empowered. This experience is a perfect example of how investing in smart, effective leadership allows a business and its culture to thrive. I’m thrilled with the turnaround and certainly won’t be waiting another year to return!

The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
