Ordered a New York Strip that came smelling rancid. My wife and I were both repulsed it ruined our entire dinner they could not have removed it quickly enough. No remedy offered by management, we paid for my wife's meal and drink and left immediately. Unacceptable to allow a steak smelling like that out of your kitchen and unacceptable management to not make things right, and we are in the Hospitality Industry and would never leave a customer that dissatisfied. Totally unacceptable experience and response. A health department complaint will follow.

The food was okay-ish, but not the best, it didn't make me sick surprisingly. I don't like Landry's restaurants that much, because HR is horrible there & they're not good at taking care of their staff & restaurant, but we went there cause it was the only thing open. I didn't like how the "gentlemen" who was seating us around after 4pm 2.24.26 treated my partner. All my partner wanted to ask about was the prices of the happy hour menu & the "gentlemen" seating us was very defensive with inappropriate tone & manners over menu pricing questions I think the "gentleman" was overreacting. He had a receding hairline (brunette) & looked like middle aged man with a beard & mustache with a fancy suit. He was thinking my partner was haggling even though he wasn't the servers were nice-ISH though & respectful-ISH. Over all the experience was really cringe won't come here again if the guy is there at least the noise pollution is quiet. The guy who seated us left a bad aura in the whole restaurant. I get he was trying to be nice, but the tone was defensive & assuming. Not even worth coming back, maybe if its the only store open. I'm gonna be nice & give it a 2 star rating, even if I'm really upset of the hostess with his inappropriate behavior. LAME!.

Made reservations for my daughter and son in law for Valentine's Day. I understand they are busy that day however, they we 30 minutes late seating them.
They were out of crab legs which my son in law loves and that one reason they went. No bread was brought to the table. They saw others with it but they did not get any. My daughters steak was not done how she liked and left it. My son in law had to settle for steak while he was looking forward to crab legs. Think twice abut going here. They work hard for there money and they are young. What a disappointment

I usually LOVE this place, but my recent visit was less than ideal, especially for the occasion. I had a reservation for Valentine's Day, we were seated about 15 minutes after our reservation due to them being behind, which was not a big deal. However, when we were sat, we were informed that the oysters and snow crab legs were sold out. Our reservation was at 7 PM, not very late in the evening, so I am not sure how the restaurant was not prepared given most people had reservations. I was very disappointed to not be able to order either.
We were sat at the smallest table in the entire restaurant under a cold vent- the couple next to us had also commented to their server that they were cold. I asked our server if we could move to a booth as there were many other single-pair couples at booths and we were told that the empty booths were already booked for other reservations that may be larger- an hour goes by and the previously empty tables were occupied by other couples, not more than two at a table as well......I then saw a different hostess seat another couple at a table and when they asked to move to a booth, she immediately granted their request and sat them. I asked another hostess about this and she then responded that it was later in the night so they could move us or something like that. This was aggravating and as someone who has previously worked as a hostess in an upper-scale restaurant, I didn't realize it was that big of a deal to ask for a booth, especially when you're spending the kind of money here on dinner and I have never had such an issue at any other restaurant. Not to mention, they had a special V-Day dinner menu which did not have any of the items my date and I were planning on getting when browsing the website menu the same day before our reservation, which came off as a price gouge from the restaurant because of course their "Too Good Two-Course" (which used to include dessert for about the same price but now does not, by the way) was unavailable which was not just about the price but the list of items that this deal includes are some of my favorites and they were not available on V-Day at all.
The tables were also rickety and the service overall was OK given the booth hassle. Justin, who was our new server after we were granted freedom to move from the booth police, was better than our first server who didn't even offer us bread. Not to mention my date and I watched a server overstack a tray and drop multiple pieces of glassware, one of them being a full glass of water and landing in the lap of a seated guest. I will not be coming back here for another occasion.

Being how it's owned by Mitchell's Steakhouse I expected the steak to be as good as Seafood. I was highly disappointed with a New York strip. The meat was tough and hard to cut through with that steak knife with a over powering.flavor of bunt grill and nothing else. In all honesty it was the toughest New York strip and the worst tasting I've ever eaten in my life. My date had a fillet and two lobster tails. The lobster tails were the only thing that was good with our meal. Definitely not what I expected out of $160 meal for two.
