  While in the area for work, I needed a quick place to grab lunch and Afra Grill more than fit the bill. Going with a Build Your Meal, the spicy peanut chicken with plantain, beans, and babaas sauce was the kind of food that I was looking for, something other than yet another burger joint. I also strongly recommend the hot tea—a masala milk tea that I nursed all afternoon.

  I used to love Afra Grill but the last 2 times I’ve gone, it has been a terrible experience. A friend ordered pick up for 4 of us, order was supposed to be ready at 4:45. We get there at 4:50 and are told they need more time. We then wait 45 minutes to get our order. This was in September. Gave them another shot today, order for 2 was supposed to be ready at 12:37. I get there and I’m told by the cashier that their printer was out of paper so my order was not ready. I waited 10 minutes to get my order. Opened it up when I got home and my husband ordered a bariis rice bowl with jerk chicken and 5 toppings. The only thing in the take out container was the jerk chicken thigh. Nothing else. Had to go back to get all of the food we ordered. What a joke. And the portions are smaller than they used to be.

  Sooo let's just say I really like this place food is AMAZING HANDS DOWN I drive 30 min justnto come eat I'm very happy I stopped in! Next time I'm goingnto stay in and eat it's very clean and feels like home

  Jan 22, 26 1:10pm Purchased jerk chicken , beans and rice. Chicken was from yesterday. I called to tell her that the chicken wasn't fresh, she said sorry. I asked to speak with the manager or to leave my number for the manager to call...she hung up. I'm not spending my money on yesterday leftovers.... Tasty Hands on Dublin Granville moving forward. Always Hot and Fresh
