    My boyfriend and I walked in at 6:45 PM on Monday 11/17/2025 the store closed at 8:00 PM and where denied service because the store was “closing soon” the man at the front was rude and disrespectful. I clarified so you won’t serve us and he said yes. No apology or reasoning just told us to be on out way. This was rude and not the way the business should be managed.

    I put an online order in. I got there 5 min after my order was supposed to be ready. They told me it may be another 30-40 min and that they were going to wait on the line in the store first. People kept getting in line and my order was still completely ignored. Why does this place have online ordering if they can't make these orders. The purpose of online is so you DON'T have to wait in a big line. I asked to refund my order twice. The first staff member ignored me and the second said they did not know how to refund. Terrible customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

    My coworker and I visited a Subway location and immediately noticed concerning behavior from the employee working behind the counter. She appeared unsteady, was swaying, and did not seem fully attentive. Throughout the ordering process, she repeatedly asked us to restate our order, and her movements were delayed and unnecessarily repetitive. It was clear that her coworker was becoming increasingly frustrated by the situation, especially after another customer asked her directly, “Are you okay? Are you even able to make my sandwich?” At that point, the employee became visibly upset, discarded her gloves, and pointed toward my coworker and me, stating, “I just made their sandwiches.” She then walked to the back of the store, leaving her colleague alone to handle a growing line of customers. The behavior raised serious concerns for both her well-being and the safety of those around her. She appeared to possibly be under the influence of a substance, which made us feel very uncomfortable as customers. We were also concerned for her coworker, who was left to manage the store on his own under difficult circumstances. Ultimately, we felt uneasy enough that we decided not to eat our meals. We believe this incident warrants attention, as it not only created an unsafe and unprofessional environment but also left us questioning the standards of service and oversight at this location.

    Disappointed with Gift Card Redemption Experience I recently visited the Subway location at 1240 Huron Rd E, 1st Floor, Cleveland, OH 44115, hoping to use my $5 Subway gift card. Although I had the printed gift card at home, I only had a photo of it on my phone when I went to pay. However, the staff refused to accept the gift card presented as a picture, even though all the necessary details like the card number and barcode were clearly visible. I found this disappointing because a gift card represents real money and should be accepted regardless of whether it’s shown as a physical print or a digital photo. I hope Subway reviews its policy on digital gift cards so customers can redeem their money conveniently. I would appreciate better training for staff on this matter and clearer communication to customers about gift card redemption options.
