Portion of Food for the Money Was Awful ! Felt Unwanted the Minute that I Walked in , but I had to feed my kids & the Skyline Chili in Clifton Ohio Was the Only thing that I was familiar with. Staff acted like they were forced to help me. I won't Never Go Back to the Skyline Chili in Clifton Ohio , even if they offered to give me the food for free.

Had to leave due to complete lack of service. We arrived and sat down with our toddler, 25 minutes later we hadn’t even been acknowledged and my son was running out of patience. I understand that you are busy but get it together. The waitress had about 8 tables to deal with and was in a state of complete meltdown. It’s 8 tables. It’s not that hard. Just acknowledge us and let us know you will be with us. Maybe you should be in a different job where you don’t have to deal with the public. We won’t be back.

I’m going to paint you a picture with my words because I can’t with my hands. It’s not going to be pretty. Think…toddler with permanent marker on your new stainless steel fridge. And not even child prodigy toddler. Keeps trying to bite the cat toddler.
I’ve never had Cincinnati chili before. I’ve only ever read about it in magazines or seen about it in movies. Now I finally got to experience about it in my belly.
I’ll be honest. Chili on spaghet? Knock that crap off. This is why you lost the war.
Boy oh boy. Was I wrong. If I ever put anything on my soaghetto, it will only be this. Heck, if I ever put anything on anything anymore, it will only be this.
Let’s get into the nuts and bolts of it. Classic diner style seating and atmosphere. Classic diner style servers. Everything is quick and well oiled. This isn’t their first time. Don’t be a square, sit at the bar for that authentic experience.
Because I’m not here to play games, I ordered the 5 ways. This was: spaghit, chili, shredded cheese, diced onion, and beans. And because I’m also not there to play games, I got it with the extreme habanero cheese. I did order the small only because I was unsure of if I was going to like it. In reality, had I known then what did now, I would have ordered all of it. Not as much as possible. All. Of. It. I just don’t even know how to explain it. It’s spigot with chili and cheese. It tastes like dreams feel. It tastes like what a child’s laughter sounds like. They could have served this out of a sweaty gym sock and I would have politely asked for more.
Here’s the bonus. The lady sitting next to me was eating a couple coney dogs. I noticed I didn’t even have one. So, I ordered a single coney. Habanero cheese. Another home run. It almost doesn’t seem fair. My only regret in life right now is that I don’t have one in my pocket for snacking.
