- SSSteve ShafferNov 1, 20251.0Thought I would take a chance on the new outback in Eastgate after about 5 years ago having a bad experience with the one on 5 mile with 3 porterhouse steaks being of terrible quality. Tonight my wife and I went to the newest Outback at Eastgate. I ordered the porterhouse and my wife ordered Steak and ribs. Salad was great. The steak on the other hand was thin and raggered looking. I order Onions and mushroom to go over it but only got onion's till our waitress brought them separate. I cut the first piece which left an after taste in my mouth. I tried another spot on the steak again not juicily. It looked like one of those steaks people sell out of their trunk. At 30 plus for the steak I expected more so I called over a Manager which said i could get you another but i said if it even looks like this i just want all removed so I may go to a different Restaurant (Texas roadhouse) Got a great porterhouse as usual there. She still charged me for the onions and mushroom that she took away on the plate that I also didn't know they charge for each. Texas roadhouse mixes them together and charges for 1. If I was the Manager i would have given me a free dinner maybe for me to try at a different time instead of totally losing a customer and maybe anyone that will see this review or some of my business associates .
