    To describe in 3 words: slow, inefficient, unreliable. While I have long been a fan of Cava, my visit today was very disappointing. The service was significantly slow, taking 30 minutes to serve only ten customers ahead of me. Furthermore, the restaurant was out of several key ingredients when I reached the counter. After finally receiving my food, I found there were no forks available in the dining area. I asked the staff for utensils, but they had none available, which forced me to pack up my meal and leave. I hope you can address these service and inventory issues to improve the experience for future guests. Otherwise this location will be closed within the year.

    I am a big fan of Cava but this was a completely different experience than the Bethesda location I used to go to all the time. Placed a pickup order, waited two hours, got the alert it was ready, but had to wait another 45 after I got there. Order (a single bowl) was totally wrong, complete with a lettuce stem and ingredients I was allergic too, and missing ingredients I paid extra for. Seems like they are way too overwhelmed. I was so excited to see Cincinnati get a Cava, but won’t be back until the hype dies down.

    The service was overwhelming, food was all over the place. The staff were very busy and behind on orders, the manager and staff were unprepared, unprofessional and not helpful. The line was so long we waited for 35-40 minutes then once we get up to ordering the the young staff was playing and the manager was playing and joking while everyone was waiting to order. The drink station was empty no one went to refill it, it was a disaster. The PITA chips are horrible and to SALTY! Spending $25-$30 this is absolutely ridiculous. Chipotle is $9-$12 maybe they need to call chipotle and get some insight on what to do next time!

    I sent my boyfriend to pick up our food on a saturday, ordered though the app, since I was getting off work. He said it looked like a fight just broke up when he walked in. Said there had to be about 100 people jammed inside with a line out the door. He went up to grab our food, 5pm pick up time and he was actually late, and the food hadn't even been made yet. When the manager talked to him, he asked my Boyfriend a question and before he could answer - the guy just walked away. They were out of pita chips - I didnt get my all of the sauces on the side like requested. Plus the 2 sauces I did get, I had no idea how to tell them apart. There is no labels so it became a guessing game. (Still no idea which sauces we had and what was the one I actually liked) But over all, the food was still pretty good. I went back on a monday to give it another shot, to have my own experience. I placed a mobile order again, and it was actually ready when I got there! The place wasnt packed or anything yet and when I went to grab my food they even asked if everything looked right. Super clean inside, friendly staff and looked really nice. I'll definitely be back! Side note- this is a new restaurant to our area - there will definitely be waiting times during 'rush hours' while everyone flocks to try it. If you dont want to wait in a line- I recommend downloading their app and ordering ahead. 4/5 stars because its based on my experience- not my boyfriend.

    Food is good, but that’s about the only good thing about it. I keep having my order repaired incorrectly. This has happened I think 3 times now. Today, I asked for my dressings to be put on the side and when I got home I realized they weren’t there. They also put the wrong chicken on my bowl. And, they forgot the drink, but I caught that before I left. Also long wait times. Still have to wait even after getting the text saying it’s ready. Perhaps it would be better if you ordered in person, but the line is usually out the door. Had high hopes for this place. Edit: I keep coming back to this place thinking that it’s going to get better since they’re brand new. Don’t think so. Seems to be a people problem. They clearly rushed through hiring. Today, I went to pick up my order, and Matt who I presume is the store manager or maybe the assistant manager was not doing much of anything productive while the line was backed up to the door. Honestly, I couldn’t exactly make out what he was doing other than telling customers that they were running out of food. He should have been helping make orders. Bottom line is, this place has people problems. I don’t think it’s going to get any better. People problems like that indicate carelessness from upper management. I’m sure they were under a lot of pressure to just get the store opened, but as a result the brands first impression in Cincinnati is permanently tainted for many of what could have been regular customers. This reputation will now follow them for years to come. Lots of capex wasted. Should have just slowed down a little bit, and found good people. The incident over at Starbucks referenced in another review is yet more evidence of this carelessness. Whoever was in charge of this opening should be fired. This opening should be internally studied at great lengths to figure out exactly what went wrong and how to never ever ever do it again.
