I ordered a hamburger in a lettuce wrap, out of preference, with typical condiments (ketchup, mustard, Mayo), pickles, tomato, and onion. I also got a regular-size order of French fries. Also, my order was to go. When I bit into my burger, I was surprised to find that I wasn't tasting any of the condiments that I had ordered. In fact, it took three further bites before I reached any of these additional flavors that give a hamburger it's quintessential flavor. 🍔 Of course, this was a bit of a disappointment. Given the fact that I stopped by this Five Guys while traveling, I couldn't easily double-back and grab additional condiments to compensate for that which was lacking on the burger, itself. Making matters even more unfortunate, while my order of fries were plentiful, they were not crispy, and came off to be under-done. 😕 🍟 I was disappointed that I spent almost $20 on this disappointing meal. However, I must comment that the restaurant was very clean, tidy, and orderly. A family was finishing up their meal when I arrived, and seemed to have a good time with their two small children (under 10 yrs.), leaving me with the impression that it is a good location for a shared family meal that accommodates children. The bathroom was very clean and orderly, complete with a changing table in the women's bathroom. I feel as though my critiques can be easily rectified, and I hope that they are received as an opportunity to strengthen the service they provide to customers.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
