Inspired by the taste of modern Europe and the ambiance of the late 19th-century Victorian era, Chef Margot Blondet set out to create a sexy, sophisticated dining and cocktail experience.
Nestled in Centerville’s historic Uptown neighborhood, Manna offers its guests a journey through time and culture. The property maintains its original, historic architecture while housing Manna’s sleek, sensual cocktail bar and modern Victorian-era dining room both peppered with carvings, sculptures, chandeliers, and marble from Blondet’s travels across the globe!
Manna’s menu blends together rich European culinary traditions with that South American je ne sais quoi that is Blondet’s legacy. Bold, provocative cocktails and a chic wine program suggest that salvation is just around the corner.
The restaurant is praised for its beautiful decor and inviting ambiance, making it a great place for special occasions.

Server didn't know anything about the menu or how things were prepared.
They also don't have sharp knives capable of cutting through the lamb loin in the lamb wellington, because, and I quote from my server, "we don't offer sharp knives to our customers so they don't cut themselves." This is ridiculous.
The scallops were NOT cooked properly. You sear scallops on both sides to lock in moisture, ensure even cooking, impart flavor and visuals, and most importantly, to ensure the scallops ARE ACTUALLY COOKED. My server didn't take my request and criticism seriously, because, thankfully, I know cuisine and cooking well enough to know that my scallops would not have killed or otherwise give food poisoning to me.
I specifically requested that I wanted to lamb wellington available for my reservation for when I made it two weeks in advance. I expressed to my server of this and that I'd like my lamb wellington temp rare preparation. Any chef worth their salt and has any sort of basic culinary skills can know how to sear a lamb loin so that it is rare and temperature is correct as per the customer's request. My server informed me that "we don't temp our wellingtons because it is prepared and wrapped in puff pastry" and I informed her of my culinary knowledge and experience and I know how to make wellingtons, and that if the chefs are trained and diligent about cooking it, then they should be capable of doing such. She then barked back with "they are diligent and know what they're doing" which is obviously incorrect if you are telling me that they can't properly cook the wellington and don't know how to properly cook it and sear it to lock in the temp of the loin.
They obviously don't know how to cook whatsoever because the loin was NOT seared AT ALL and was NOT SEASONED and NEITHER were the duxelle and the loin wasn't wrapped as usual wellingtons are or even smeared with any sort of sauce (Dijon mustard is usual) and there was no sauce on TOP of the wellington.
I voiced my concerns to the waitress and she didn't acknowledge it, apologize for it, or offer anything for the horrid and abhorrent dish that was served to me. It was an utter waste of $60 and overcharged for the pathetic "high quality Peruvian French Fusion" dish that I had to stomach to eat because I am VEHEMENTLY against food waste and will NOT TOLERATE sending it back for them to just throw away. No compensation or attempt to remedy the situation was suggested or offered.
I would expect that seasoning, even salt, would have been used on my lamb wellington, as well as some sort of sauce, would accompany it, but no, none of that existed.
Lastly, when asked what I'd like to drink, the server offered a few different forms of water, but did not state to me that the soda water would be $12, which was very deceptive and immoral to not have the customer be aware of the price when it was offered as a complementary item, as many other restaurants do.
Margot, you should be ashamed of yourself, and you should give a call to me to offer some sort of remedy for the situation, because this is simply egregious and should not be tolerated for a restaurant I had incredibly high hopes for. I'll be happy to give it another shot after we have a conversation and can be promised that the next lamb wellington will be seasoned, properly cooked, and the scallops actually seared and cooked properly.

Had a wonderful dinner here tonight with my wife. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the heirloom salad, and halibut. My wife had the Caesar salad and chicken. Presentation of the dishes were beautiful and inviting. The flavors of these dishes were amazing. The atmosphere was a nice romantic ambiance. Low light and some music, but you can hear the conversation at your table without straining. Our server was Deb, extremely nice and helpful with attentiveness to food allergies. I definitely recommend this place for a nice date night.

I can’t say enough good things about Manna Uptown and my multiple experiences with the restaurant. Most recently I made a reservation for 15 of friends to have my birthday brunch there and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is stunning, the food is delicious and the service is fantastic (Deb was our server and she was wonderful and very attentive and kind)! Maxwell assisted me over the phone with making the reservation and made it effortless and was very helpful. I am very grateful for the team at Manna making my birthday special and I look forward to supporting the restaurant for years to come!

We had the brunch buffet. Food was bland but what was worse was nothing was hot, let alone warm. I was concerned about food poisoning when I took a bite out of the baked scallop and it was cold. But, then so was my carnitas taco....and so was my slider. Nothing was to the right temperature and the buffet has no sneeze guards. Try at your own risk.
