What started as a simple complaint about a wrong order quickly turned into a complete display of unprofessionalism from the manager on duty. When my order was incorrectly filled by an employee, I approached the manager to address the issue — which is a completely reasonable thing to do. Instead of handling the situation with basic courtesy and professionalism, she was dismissive and rude from the very start. No apology, no attempt to correct the mistake, and absolutely no effort to make things right. To make matters worse, when we requested a refund for the incorrect order we were charged for, it was flatly refused. We paid for something we did not receive, and the manager showed zero interest in resolving this fairly. When we raised our concerns further — as any customer rightfully would — her response was to say “whatever” and literally shut the door on us. This is not just poor customer service; it is outright disrespectful and unacceptable behavior from someone in a leadership position. A manager’s job is to de-escalate situations and ensure customers are treated fairly. This manager did the exact opposite. Customers deserve basic respect and accountability, especially when a mistake has been made on the business’s end. I would strongly urge others to think twice before visiting this location, and I sincerely hope corporate takes note of how their brand is being represented here. Nobody should walk away from an ice cream shop feeling disrespected and out of pocket for an order they never asked for.
