You can tell they’ve switched to cheaper, mass-produced dough because the texture is off, the flavor is bland, and the toppings are barely even there anymore. Everything that used to feel “fresh baked” is now obviously thawed out and reheated. Panera’s quality used to stand out, but now it’s just another chain cutting corners and hoping no one notices. Unfortunately, the customers definitely notice — and the bagels are honestly terrible now!
