Y'all, my burger was DELICIOUS!! We went yesterday for lunch around noon and I'm still thinking about this burger and drooling, literally. The Mac and cheese was so so good, I just got a small side but my partner got loaded Mac and loved it! And being from Louisiana , it takes a really good sweet tea to impress me and I am very impressed! Portions were great, service was great, atmosphere was great! I don't usually leave reviews but this place is a hidden gem in my eyes :)
- CCCDec 13, 20252.0I took my son here for his birthday dinner. We were really excited to get a good barbecue place. It was the most disappointing thing ever. I got the special which was chicken as well as some onion rings and biscuits. The chicken was so hard I could barely eat it. The chicken thigh had one bite of meat on it. It was like they burnt all of the meat off. The onion rings were practically black when they brought them to me, completely burnt. The biscuits were hard as a rock, and that is no exaggeration. I couldn’t even tear a piece off to eat it. They must have been sitting out all day. The girl who waited on us when I was trying to ask her questions about things because we have never been there. She was looking down on her phone the whole time while answering me. She never came back to check on us, so therefore I couldn’t tell her how awful my food was and ask for something different or a refund. I think she has reddish dark hair if I remember correctly. The guys in the back we’re talking about a show called wife swap, which I thought was very unprofessional as well as the girl outfront being on her phone The whole time while people are trying to talk to her. Such an unprofessional environment and the food was horrible. Even after that awful experience, I decided to give them one more chance. Ordered a brisket, Reuben. The brisket was completely dry. I don’t understand how people keep eating here because the only thing I can think of is that they’re not used to good food or good restaurants. Because if you’re used to good food, you would never think this is good food. The only reason I gave them two stars is because they do have really good ice cream cones and that’s the only thing I will ever get from there again
