  For a flagship store the overall quality and shopping experience has gone down significantly. The store is often dirty. Floors rarely mopped, spills will stay in the aisles for a long while. Sales are often of expired foods. Specialty cheeses are often past expiration date but on sale. I've seen a mound of boxes of butter on sale for $1.00, the catch? All boxes expired that day. Produce can be lacking, dairy expires sooner than date and even their prepared foods like fresh chicken has even had gone down, noticed several feathers on chicken and taste is greasy, like fresh oil isn't used anymore. It's a shame

  I visited today and asked a young man if there were any boxes available, as I am currently in the process of moving. When I worked for Acme about ten years ago, this was a common request, and we were always happy to help customers when possible. Unfortunately, instead of simply explaining that this is no longer something the store offers, the employee responded in a very unprofessional and dismissive manner. He raised his voice and made me feel uncomfortable for asking what I believed was a reasonable question. He let me know that the store now recycles boxes and receives a profit from doing so..that’s great. I respect that. However, I believe there is a way to communicate this policy to customers with courtesy and respect. No one should feel embarrassed or spoken down to for asking a simple question.

  Local grocery store, I give it 4 stars because I think it reminds me of Marc’s and an old store called Topps. I liked the fact that it is locally owned and operated. I support local businesses. I was there for an event/ meeting upstairs in the community room. It was not clean same with the restrooms. Also there isn’t a printer available. They do have a large selection of products and seems to have a good amount of options. With that being said it was my first time there and if it wasn’t for the event or meeting I wouldn’t have ever walked in on my own.

  TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Take YOUR money somewhere else. PLACE IS GOING DOWN HILL!! FAST!!!Came here on a regular Thursday morning, so I thought got everything that me and my child needed as soon as I got to self check out a older woman yelled 25 items or less I proceeded to say that I was with a friend and we chose to do one cart instead of two she chose to scream across the area to me and tell me that “IT DOESNT MATTER”. Screamed with agression to, with my child who is one years old was right there. I proceeded to communicate that you don’t talk to people like that and you never know if what people are going through because my child who was severely sick has just been sick for a whole week and this was our first day able to get out and do something normal just to be talked to poorly by a woman who is in a customer service position. I’m not understanding . so when I proceeded to go get another cart to split the items. Lady proceeded to angrily storm off and get another manager as I check on my items no issues happen but at the end of my ticket, the total items ended up being 33 items that I paid for so I guess Because I bought seven items to the checkout over the amount that I was supposed to have. I deserved being aggressively screamed at in front of my child as she was nt even feeling well so like I said, you never know what people are going through and when I say I will not be back I will never be back and I live right on the corner
