  I was HUNGRY! Venice has been the only place that I am willing to spend my money on a pasta for a good while. Last night was DIFFERENT. I called. I was greeted by a cheerful soul, with which I placed my regular order and gave my name "Venus [like the planet]" which was REPEATED to ensure CLEAR understanding. I was told "30 minutes" On our way, my guy asks me if I remembered to order it the way he loves, and I responded affirmatively. that i certainly did, reiterating the details. He thanked me. My guy and I get to Venice in 32 minutes, and he goes in to pay. A few minutes later, he returns to the vehicle EMPTY HANDED, trelling me that they don't have an order. He said that they told him that the ONLY order they found was a DOORDASH order . I thought THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE, I verified who I was calling BEFORE dialing, and I began scrolling to where I had made the call, along him if I should go in and complain. My guy is MUCH calmer than I am. I prepared to call them an ask if they are SURE, but, just then, a female worker came out to try to catch my guy because they HAD found the order, under Xena. I don't know what PLANET is named Xena, but what evs🤷‍♀️ it was taking awhile, but I asked God to help me grow PATIENCE. Another HALF HOUR LATER, my guy comes out with the food in hand. 🙄 Annoyed that we had waited an hour for food that was supposed to take half an hour AND BE READY FOR US WHEN WE GOT THERE, I asked, "Was the music AT LEAST good?" to which he responded, "It was aiight". I said, "did they do anything to make up for their oversight?" INTENDING TO WRITE A REVIEW. He told me that, "They threw in some FREE Garlic Bread".... We got in, sat down, THANKED God for the food and safe passage, and we began to eat, finally. The garlic bread in our bag was neither FREE nor EXTRA. I didn't ask him about his food because... 💁‍♀️I ordered the same. The texture of the noodles were different than I'm used to, and I had concerns about the chicken, however, there weren't many pieces of chicken in my LARGE chicken riggies: 4 to be exact. I was VERY disappointed with this visit, and it will be a GOOD WHILE before I think to revisit.

  I ordered a drink and a single slice and it took them over 20 minutes to just get it into the oven, its shameful how service for single customers gets sidelined for large orders. Not to mention my slice was basically cold because it wasnt even in the oven for more than a minute. Made me late on my break for work which is worse than anything else. Would give zero stars if I could
