I placed an order through the Subway app for a Footlong Oven-Roasted Turkey using the promotional code 699FL, which the app accepted with no issues. The order went through and showed as confirmed for pickup at this location. A few minutes later, the store called me and told me they would not honor the coupon because the store is franchise-owned, and they canceled the order. If the location does not participate in Subway promotions, the system should not allow the order to be placed with the coupon in the first place. Accepting the order and then canceling it afterward wastes the customer’s time and creates a poor experience. Very disappointing and unprofessional handling of an online order.
