  I have Type 1 Diabetes so sometimes I get very thirsty. I usually have my Hydro Flask with me, but forgot it at home today and was pretty patched after a tanning session next door to this Dunkin’ location. I figured I'd pop in and politely ask for a small cup of tap water. They tried to charge me. For tap water. Who does that? I'm not sure if this is company policy (rather dystopian policy if so) or because I'm visibly trans. A lot of people think that they can treat me poorly just because I'm trans, and that I'll lay down and take it. Unfortunately for them I transitioned 20 years ago when I was 15 so I'm quite comfortable in my body by this point, I have a hot, hung, young fiancé who loves me madly, and a savings account balance rapidly approaching the FDIC insurance limit. We own our own condo with a 28-foot-long balcony overlooking the Hudson River. At 35 I am retired and live off capital gains. I spend my free time volunteering with the elderly. All this to say, my self-esteem is quite healthy. So, no, I'm not going to pay for the privilege of drinking from a strip mall donut shop's sink, lmao. And I'm not going to let somebody who has to work in that strip mall donut shop act like they're above me in literally any way. I politely declined and left. As I left, one of them muttered something nasty under their breath, like a coward. I don't take it personally though...I'd probably be miserable too if I were poor.

  I visit this Dunkin’ regularly, and I have to say, the customer service here is absolutely outstanding. There’s a young lady named Jennifer who works at this location who truly makes the whole experience special. She is incredibly sweet, talkative, and genuinely caring the kind of person who can brighten your entire morning before you’ve even had your coffee.Every time I walk in, she greets me with the warmest smile and a positive attitude that never feels forced. She remembers her customers, their usual orders, and even little things they mention in conversation. It’s rare to find someone who treats every interaction with such kindness and sincerity. Her talkative, friendly nature creates such a welcoming atmosphere even if the line is busy, she makes everyone feel seen and appreciated. The way she takes her time to chat, offer recommendations, share a laugh, or simply check in on how your day is going makes this Dunkin’ stand out from all the others. She has this amazing ability to make the store feel less like a fast-food chain and more like a neighborhood spot where people actually connect. On top of her fantastic service, the drinks and food are consistently great — always fresh, always made right. But honestly, it’s her personality that keeps me coming back. She brings such warmth and positivity to this location, and it truly makes a difference. If you’re looking for a Dunkin’ that not only serves good coffee but also treats you like family, this is the one. Huge shoutout to the sweet and talkative lady who makes every visit better than the last. Dunkin’ is lucky to have her!
