It was dry, overcooked, and stringy. My dish, pesto alla genovese, was heavy on the pesto and the portion was quite modest for the price. When we explained this, A’mano gave us the bill and declined to comp us for the chicken or her meal itself, which was frankly underwhelming, chicken aside. We had about two bites before leaving and paying $40 for a regrettable dining experience. Compared to 2 years ago, this establishment lost its character as a once-casual place to get good pasta. Avoid. Go to Inizio if you care for handmade pasta and table service. Or just make pasta at home—it’ll probably be better.
