  I’m from the south and I didn’t think Long Island had soul food spots and so nearby! Fried Whiting was incredibleeeee. Collard greens and mac was freaking melt in your mouth. My man picked the order up for me and they kindly offered a first time discount. Reasonably priced and the place was packed. My new local favorite.

  I heard so much about Angie’s and I was excited but disappointed the staff was polite and very accommodating the store was clean Collar greens too spicy…Mac n cheese not tight enough…potato salad I think it was the wrong mayo it hit your taste buds to hard...the Candi yams appeared to be from the can The chicken-fried wings were dry on the Island for 20yrs glad to see.a Soul food spot on the Island Angies is always crowded with great reviews Please accept this review with an open mind and love

  If you have children stay away from this place. The workers and owners smoke weed all day long in that establishment. The parking lot has illegally cars parked all over the place. Most definitely not safe when emergency or a fire happens. People from the other establishments leave in anger. Due to the fact they have to sit around and smell marijuana. The whole time, they're spending money at another establishment. This is highly unprofessional and illegal. Due to the Clean Air Act, there is not supposed to be any smoking of any kind in any business.

  The food here is delicious!!! I am so grateful I finally have had the opportunity to try this restaurant after hearing such great things. I got the fried shrimp, Mac & cheese and Candied yams wow! Everything was so yummy fresh and well made. I did order online and picked up in store and the store and parking lot was packed the workers was working so hard to get everything done and ready. I will definitely be back ♥️

  The one thing I love about this restaurant is the familiar faces. You never see a new face which leads me to believe Angie truly appreciates and respects her staff. I don’t go as frequent as I use to but when I do. I can guarantee the same faces will be waiting to greet me with a smile while I crack a joke. I love that! It always feels like family when you go! Plus she knows the salmon cheesesteak rolls are my fav so I’m always gonna pop up for those! lol
