Well, color me impressed. Both five guys the company, as well as the local manager reached out and addressed our concerns. I have a lot of respect for a company that will take accountability as well as act when a customer has a disappointing experience. Kudos on everyone. So, even though we had a disappointing experience, everyone involved did what they could to make it right. Thank you very much.
We really love five guys, just not this time. We placed the order online and arrived right on time for pickup, but our order was not even started. So we sat and waited with orders that came in person were filled before ours. One we got it, our order of $120 was more than half wrong, but we only noticed once home.
The milkshakes were forgotten by the staff, so we waited further after getting our food and still 2 of the 4 milkshakes were incorrect with interests we didn't order.
2 burgers we're flatly wrong.
The fries were under cooked and went quickly soggy.
Really disappointing. If this was our first time we wouldn't be going back. I'm not sure we will go back to this location ever.

Guy through our food on the counter the guys were arguing the whole time, not a good look food was ok just smashed and manhandled, and the girl at counter told my wife after they slammed it on the counter oh that's yours oh jeez thanks lady. Do better I get you don't have much to work with workers wise but you will not survive another 50 years with that business model.

Based on my visit on Sunday March 8 between 2-3 pm - I frequent this location several times a quarter. This is the only time there has ever been an issue - but the problem was so egregious that it needs to be raised. DIRTY TABLES! Not one, two, three or five - every eating surface in the store was OUTRAGEOUSLY DIRTY! Leftover food, food packaging and crumbs too - the floors were disgusting too. It was intermittently busy. During a break I approached the 'manager' a tall, white/hispanic, large man with short dark hair and explained that every table is dirty, every single one. He looked at me and said "I just got here" and that was it! He didn't look at the tables, he did not offer me a rag, a bucket, or a spray bottle to allow me to clean a table so I could sit down and enjoy the $30+ lunch I just purchased! This is not a leader, but a lazy slob that could care less.I get it, people are hard to find, but this person is taking up more room than he needs to and is not living up to the First Guys experience. Based on my experience on this date, I'd never return.

What an amazing rip off. Not sure how they are able to charge the prices they do for a rotten burger.

I typically really enjoy Five Guys and have been to this location before, and never had an issue. The food was fine, but the employees were clearly under the influence of Marijuana not only were they visibly high, but after a few minutes into our meal the entire dinning area began to reek of weed, and me and my husband could see them giggling and laughing about it.
Not only is it gross to be having a family dinner with the smell and atmosphere of a frat house, but deeply concerning to be eating food made by people who are under the influence.
I know marijuana is legal now, and maybe management is okay with it, but overall it just really ruined my experience.
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.

How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
