Since it's made to not offend anyone, thus mass "appeal," it lacks interest/soul; simply put, its uninspiring. But they do a good job with what they do and they have nailed consistency. I've been to two locations recently and both had the same big problem with staffing. In both cases the dining areas were a mess with tables bad and the floor awful, looked like a school cafeteria floor after a food fight. Clearly, in both cases, they were missing that key employee at that moment. We get it, people call in sick. If I were the manager, I'd be out there with a sweeper, setting a good example and cleaning the floors

That was ten years ago and since then there has been so many changes, but Panera holds a special place in my heart. I couldn’t work from home and it gave me the ability to concentrate and get my work done. Great place with great staff, couldn’t think of a better place
