- MIMichelle IsabelMar 16, 20261.0This review is more for tropical smoothie as a whole and unfortunately my experience came from this cafe. I made an online order (back in January) through their app and my order was cancelled by the door dash driver. Tropical smoothie refuses to refund me the $35 I spent, I’ve called customer service and opened up 4 cases with no luck of getting my money returned. Corporate says since they are independently owned it is up to the manager to return funds and the cafe says it’s up to corporate to return funds. I’ll let the BBB decide. On top of that, when you order through TSC app the prices change when you place them in the cart. (For ex: if a bowl is listed as $12 on their app, once you add that bowl to the cart the price jumps to $16 PLUS TAX) When I asked why this was nobody seemed to have an answer. I know they use Door Dash to deliver food but if I’m buying off of YOUR OWN app why do I need to pay the Door Dash price? Then I have to pay extra delivery fees plus tip because they use Door Dash. To me this seems unfair. Online ordering experience gets a 0/10. Customer service gets a 0/10. Accountability gets a 0/10.
